The below position occurred on the
Microsoft ZONE in a game between G.W. Miller of
The below were my comments on that
game. .

White moved 25-21 here? 24-20 is
better as it forces 7-11. If 12-16,red
loses by 20-11, 7-16, 28-24). Any other move by red, other than 6-9, will
allow the 3 for 2 shot(17-14,
10-17, 28-24). If 6-9 instead of 7-11, then 13-6, 2-9, 17-14(not 17-13),
9-18, 20-16 and red is in a probable loss. The position for red after the
7-11 move does not look
quite so promising after white sacrifices the two pieces on square 17 and
square 13. |
