Below is an illustration of how I use the "CheckerBoard: Cake Manchester" and a checker game to better my checkers. The "EDINBURGH" is an extract of "Lee's Guide", page 64 (old version) with "CheckerBoard: Cake Manchester" superimposed. I study many games, going over them with "Cake Manchester".

"CheckerBoard" is a free program and very easy to use (Don Brattin mailed me my copy). It easily superimposes on any game you may have on your computer. "Checkerboard" "Cake" is a strong program and allows you to study each move. You will note that the position on the board was accomplished by manually moving 9-13, 22-18, 10-15, 25-22, 6-10, 23-19, which is the same as the first six moves of the No 15-"Edinburg" shown. As an example of how well "checkerboard" plays, it will choose 11-16 for the next move, the same as the next move in "Lee's Guide, Edinburgh".
