The below position occurred at the 24th move in the 11th English Ty Game - F.F. Smith v. Dufficy (See move list in right column). Red moved 7-10 from the position in the diagram and drew, but an analysis indicates that 7-10 loses.

This is a critical position well worth remembering as it can occur quite often. HRG

An analysis shows that instead of 23-18A, 23-19 should draw by 11-15 17-13 10x17 19x10 7x14 13-9 17-21 9-6 1x10 20-16 12x19 24x6 22-25 6-2 25-29 2-6 14-17 6-10 5-9 10-6 9-14 31-26 14-18 26-23 18-22 23-18 22-26 30x23 draws.
